WOODSTOCK: "Grandmother to Grandmother, New York to Tanzania," Woodstock Town Hall Theater, 7:30 p.m. Anne Macksoud (Woodstock, VT) and John Ankele (New York, NY) have produced a new film on grandmothers in the U.S. and Tanzania who are raising their grandchildren because the middle generation has been lost to AIDS, drugs, or violence. This is a humane and hopeful film that will restore your faith in what’s possible when people take charge of their own future with love and courage. It’s also a joyful reminder of what we have in common across the divides of nation, language, and culture. Free admission, Q&A with the filmmakers after the screening.
